New Host! :D 02/19/2012

by Joe

Sorry about the downtime, everyone! We’ve moved to a new host that will better suit The Pocalypse and Green Pixel’s needs, now and for the future :D

Moving all the stuff over wasn’t fun, but I’m glad it’s all done. When I found out that what I was planning wasn’t allowed on our old host and that BlockHopper’s up/downloading of user-created levels was also frowned upon, we scrambled to find a new host! Thankfully, it all worked out and we managed to make the switch, with zero experience on how to do it! Hooray for tech support :D

Enjoy Scene 16 – “Still in There”!

You can follow The Pocalypse on Facebook, Twitter and RSS.

Check out Green Pixel’s first iOS game: BlockHopper! http://blockhopper.greenpixel.ca/ Thank you for your support and have fun running, hopping, and thinking your way to the Goal! Make your own levels, too! :D

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Congrats on the new host! I’m glad things went smoothly. :D

Damn he sure seems quite pissed, also if he breaks out wont the deal/pact/whatever is called be null since that was the elder part of the deal?

Luxeraph on February 19, 2012 at 3:09 pm

Wow… That was kinda scary… I knew he was still there, but still…

BloodWolf7 on February 19, 2012 at 4:34 pm

I’m kinda surprised Joe didn’t notice iJoe leaking out.
Before Elder Dom’s meddling oJoe was aware of iJoe, but now…….
….. this could be more trouble.

sh4d0wfl4re on February 19, 2012 at 6:19 pm

Jess says “And you, Harry! If I could give you [A?] Virus or something, I would!”

I’m guessing instead of “Give you virus” You mean “Give you a virus”

RicksterEpicWin on February 19, 2012 at 8:07 pm

@RicksterEpicWin – You’re right! Thanks for the catch! Fixed :D

Joe on February 19, 2012 at 8:10 pm

what if the pocalypse would be a movie? AWESOME!

earl pineda on February 19, 2012 at 9:25 pm

would inner joe get out? go loose? ALL CAPS RAGE?!

earl pineda on February 19, 2012 at 9:32 pm

Wow, that was intense! You know, of the three characters that Joe is, Inner Joe remains the one we don’t know anything about, other than he’s really freaky. I feel bad for Joe, he’s possessed all the time.

DramaNoMore on February 19, 2012 at 9:47 pm

Uh oh, I-Joe is seeping out again. I feel so bad for Joe, being unaware of and unable to control I-Joe. It was also nice to see the soft side of Jess. We don’t get to see that too often. Dawww!

Isis on February 20, 2012 at 1:07 am

Another good episode, as always. The new host thing seems intriguing, but I don´t see much of a change upon it yet… I suppose that´s a good thing, though.

NeoWarrior on February 20, 2012 at 3:12 am

Hmm.. maybe iJoe was created by the hatred of Joe?

Would it be possible if Joe,meeting,Annika ( possible sister ),eliminates iJoe and gains powers? Hm.

Happy Vampire on February 20, 2012 at 5:12 am

That gut selling cacti and flattened cardboard boxes behind Jess and Joe is the ballsiest guy ever. He must have been able to hear the threats IJoe made to the colony but he just stood there. Either that or he is a background character. Hmnnnnnn.

bobsickle on February 20, 2012 at 5:56 am

Why not bring back big scrufflebeck, permanently?

TNT on February 20, 2012 at 8:23 am

It’d be so awesome if there was somewhere to watch the entire comic from the beginning as one movie. Maybe without the chapter recaps.

JustinN on February 20, 2012 at 9:53 am

@NeoWarrior – Yup! If everything is like before, then the move was successful! :D I am getting a lot more spam comments and e-mail than usual, though. Oh well! As long as everything works for you guys!
@bobsickle – Haha! Or, he’s deaf? But, you’re right, he’s just as “background” as the boxes he’s selling :D

Joe on February 20, 2012 at 12:25 pm

just bearly avoided a catastrophy….

Resone on February 20, 2012 at 2:05 pm

That was decently exciting. I wasn’t sure if IJ was going to start rampaging or not, but even after the disaster (temporarily) averted, I still kind of feel like Jess is lying to Joe just to prevent him from flipping out.

But one of the best things about this situation is, you can’t blame her!
What an enjoyable situation that was to witness.
I cannot help but wonder about the specifics of OJ’s convenient amnesia. Is it really 100% IJ talking there, or perhaps a mix of IJ and OJ, together?

Taioko on February 20, 2012 at 3:28 pm

Congrats on your new host, Joe. :)

X on February 20, 2012 at 10:52 pm

@Taioko i think ij is the manifestation of OJs bad feelings evenen IJ said that they are the same person

Roger on February 21, 2012 at 3:21 am

Evil Joe is a psycho…. weeeeee!

Spencett on February 21, 2012 at 3:52 am

I think my mind reached a comment-making limit last scene. I want to say so much, but I can’t do it…

X on February 21, 2012 at 8:41 am

@X ….sorry?

sh4d0wfl4re on February 22, 2012 at 5:06 am

When IJ is talking, Jess says: “… You said you you’ve been kicked out before. […]”, i guess you tried to say: “… You said you’ve been kicked out before. […]”.By the way, i really liked this scene.

Cashin on February 22, 2012 at 10:32 am

@Cashin – Thanks for the catch! Fixed! :D

Joe on February 22, 2012 at 10:35 am

Kinda weird that none of the people there reacted to him. You should fix that on later episodes.
