What do you guys think about the Nintendo Switch? I haven’t owned a Nintendo console since the SNES and I’ve been thinking about picking up one up for Breath of the Wild, which looks awesome. The Switch looks pretty handy for playing in bed or on the toilet :D I wonder how the specs are gonna look considering Nintendo usually skimps on hardware.
Not a fan of the cartridge thing, though! More stuff for kids to hide :D

Wow, Rosa’s blood flat out DISSOLVING the zombie virus.
I had to re-read doc’s statement it’s so convoluted.
first, taking inventory of rosa’s transformation:
– Bitten by a zom-pire smyth (dickhead, still alive – hope he gets lost at sea)
– Has drunk from Joe’s bio-engineered blood, stabilizing her zombie transformation
– plant transmogrification planted on top
The photosynthesized metabolites stop the vampire cells from destroying her red cells and joe’s dna (based on the original z virus) keeps the zombie in check.
Whatever the plant exo-dna produces, it’s not the normal plant polysacharides.

…however, on the switch. those controlers are horrible.
if they don’t come with anything better, it’ll end badly.
The Nintendo Switch is honestly the console I’ve always wanted. Portability, big screen all in one. Plus local multiplayer. And if it can run NBA and Zelda, maybe I’d get it too. I really wanna play Zelda again

I wonder how close we are to the end-game. I feel the stakes getting higher all the time and I can’t wait for the payoff.
On the subject of the switch. Robert, there is “Pro controller” that you can get for it. I’d wager the joycon… connecting-gripping mechanism that puts two together more like a controller, isn’t so uncomfortable itself. It has extra rounded parts at the back to fit in the hand properly (seen from the top in the video, but it’s still apparent). Either way, it does come with something better (or purchasable for extra) — The pro controller. Don’t worry too much about that.
I’m quite excited about it, but damn No Man’s Sky hype lesson is screwing with me, telling me not to be excited. The Switch looks good, like more than just something family-friendly for children. I want it.
About Joe’s opinion on the cartridges: It’s almost necessary for a device like that. To keep it 1. Cool, 2. Running smooth and quick (a cartridge is similar to an SSD), 3. Quiet, it should definitely not use disks. I can honestly not think of any alternatives besides cartridges. I’d rather not have this mechanical disk-spinning thing generating heat and rumbling in my hand humming audibly if they have a way to avoid it. Disks are slow, solid-state storage is fast.
Anyway, that’s just my two-cents on a few things about the Switch. We’ll see how it goes :)
so….with a bit of luck they should be able to distil a zombie-vacine out of rosa´s blood, right?
btw, is it just me/my pc or do the latest episodes have no sound effects?
