This Episode of The Avengers is Brought to You by Hyundai | July 6, 2018

by Joe

Got back from Ant-Man and the Wasp and thought it was great! Not the best MCU movie, of course, but I loved the characters and overall lightheartedness of the movie, especially after Infinity War (except for the SPOILER!!!! mid-credits scene). All those Hyundai badge close-ups kinda took me out of the atmosphere but, meh, gotta get that product placement in somehow :D

Sucks that we have to wait 8-ish months for the next MCU movie!

Enjoy Scene 25 – “Don’t Poke the Bear”!

A well-deserved death to that asshole

I dunno. Maybe he’ll fall in the water, and then he somehow controls one of the mutants in the water with mental powers? I can see Cross being really scary with a mutant whale or something.

Maybe an underwater mutant eats Cross before he can burn, so then he’s in the stomach and safe until night… Who knows!

Nooooo (at the other commenters) please don’t bring Cross back Joe, the PoS deserves an off-screen death.
I mean yeah, we probably all wanted Rosa to kill him but this is better. He was just a vampire’s tool now anyway and served his (a bit one-dimensional) storyline well, not worthy for Rosa to deal with him.

Finally decided to comment just to agree with Dave’s comment, please just let Cross stay dead.
We have enough angry assholes already. Joe’s was selfish but at least showed room for Growth (which he now seems to be nurturing, at least a little.

Cross was just an angry, self-serving prat, both before and after infection. All that changed was the means.

Okay, so. This occurred to me after this scene, though I know it’s not directly related.

I think Bernard is behind the robots. They want to create the ‘perfect being’. Bernard was experimenting on humans (as Frank told us) to make them more ‘perfect’, or to at least dramatically improve them. I think along with Sam, he is going to be trying to make that ‘perfect being’ and will end up being the big bad of the series in the end. I mean, that’s also telegraphed a lot by how much he’s simply not shown and constantly applauded as a hero. Unless Joe pulls something really different out, which is totally possible too – I think that’s how things are gonna go. Though, that’d still be awesome either way. :D

Also yeah Cross should definitely stay dead. He’s just a dick, hasn’t really developed his character at all, feels totally disposable and it feels like a just death for that ass.

Wait, why is Samuel scared of being vaporized? Can’t he just find a different host and let Andrius become mutant chow?

What if Cross didn’t die but became a vampire-mutant breed? that would be awesome hahaha but I hope that cross doesn’t comeback

THAT EFFIN SCENE WHERE CROSS FLIES OFF THE EFFING SHIP WAS AMAZING.

@SkyeWint dude that’s the best plot twist I’ve ever read im my life!

but i think Joe has other (better?) plans for Obliteration.

BTW I just realized how much Bernard Sr. and Sam have in common: deceived by the vampires with the promise of getting the love of their lives back.
