I don’t know if that is obliteration. Obliteration had a different weapons layout. Now, Doc building a suit based on the design of obliteration is more then possible. Also, if it is obliteration, then Bernie and Jess should have recognized it.
More likely is Smyth is being mind controlled by Victor to try to kill Jess and Bernie.
No… That isn’t it at all… That is Doc’s Battle Suit. IT has a grenade launcher, not a lazer cannon. Yes, it could be based on Obliteratron. But Smyth isn’t being mind controlled. The zompire virus is driving him crazy. He wants to see his family desperately, and he knows that the sun will destroy him if he steps outside, so he “borrowed” the suit. He went to go visit his family. He will probably kill them and destroy the whole colony/
