I switched from Apple to Android last year and I’m really happy with that decision. Android definitely fits me better with more freedom and features that appeal to me (emulators, themes, no iTunes, etc). Though being an Apple user for years before that, I can understand why hordes of people still stick with Apple.
But with the iPhone 7 being revealed with no 3.5mm jack and what seems to me very minimal upgrades, it looks like the next iPhone is gonna be a relative dud. Are even Apple loyalists ready to part with their wired headphones while they charge their phones? Are they gonna dish out $160 for AirPods that only have 5 hours of charge? I know I wouldn’t do either. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if the iPhone 7 is another huge success – Apple could remove audio altogether and their marketing team would work their magic haha Also, I wonder how many phone manufacturers will follow suit in a couple of years. Apple is usually ahead of the curve and their initially unpopular decisions eventually become the norm. However, nowadays, Android phones have caught up with Apple’s quality so people have Androids to turn to. Who knows what’ll happen? All I know is that competition is great and phones’ll only get better :D I look forward to the day I can make a scene on my phone!
Are you an iPhone user? Are you upgrading to the 7?
