As you may have guessed, I’m going to leave it to you to name Bernie’s new suit! It’s going to be fast and powerful with a refreshed and confident Bernie at the controls.

I don’t know about you but I recently noticed I’m almost a mindless believer on holywood scientific explanations in I would say 90% of the movies I see, I want to know if you think as me and as well give a good explanation about bernie new suit armor composts that make it a good suit
ok well his dads suit is called obliteration and if you look at a Thesaurus eradication is another way of saying obliteration.
so i say it sould be called “eradication” sorta works with bernies style as well as he is more about removeing the target than overkill like obliteration seems to be.
Great comic as always! Can’t wait for the next. Although it seems this suit will be different than the original Stinger, I like the idea of it being Mark II. New and improved.

For names I like Stinger Mark II but seeing as how he’s making his own suit i think he should rename it but stick with the “S” name theme , so I was thinking something along the lines of Sovereign, Seraph or Spectre ( which is my favourite because of its definition “Something widely feared as a possible unpleasant or DANGEROUS occurrence” and i think as he grows more, especially with his soon to be awesome new suit, will be very dangerous.

A quick word of caution: Bernie is quickly regressing into a Mary-Sue. That flipout a few updates back was nice and refreshing, but he’s back to his old self. Lets face it: the guy is strong willed, a technical genius, a tactical mastermind, and is freaking the nicest person you’ll probably know! Perhaps you could make him a bit more realistic, rather like Joe(the character); instead of being ignorant and general idiot, you could make Bernie rather cold and ruthlessly efficient towards those he considers enemies.

Lesee, if the old suit was Stinger, why not call the new suit Scorpion, Stingray, or Hornet? How about Iracongi (or Irukandji): the world’s deadliest jellyfish? With his new rifle, relating it to the world’s most powerful stingers would fit only all too well :)
Stick to the S in the name… “Spirit” wouldda be good one, because it would be a constant reminder that it’s just a suit – and, what really matters is the human inside. Also, the fighting spirit was the most important gift parents gave to Bernie and Jess. I think it’s a perfect name for Bernie snapping out of losing the Sentinel. Also, I imagine Cross seeing it, and asking “what in the world is this?” “It’s called after something you’ve never had, old man” “oh yeah?” “It’s called Spirit!”.

Just got tuned in. Read the entire series in a few hours. Good work. Love the comic/flashtoon. Reminds me a lot of “Gammaworld” (an old RPG boxed game, sorta like a post apocalyptic Dungeons and Dragons) mixed in with “The Walking Dead”, very creative.

Hello first time commenter, actually only just finished up whats been put up so far, and I must say I’m hooked like a fish on a fishing rod.
Happy Birthday of course, thank you for all the wonderful posts even though you probably have your hands full with regular life especially with the baby.
But some name suggestions, I’m huge on anything Gundam so although they are ripoffs they just go so well with the new suit Bernie’s making.
Lockon – which is the name of a gundam pilot from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 who was the sniper of the team, Celestial Being
Dynames – which was the gundam that was piloted by Lockon, the gundam itself is designed for long range snipping, its primary weapon being a long-barreled beam rifle

Also it should be designed to counter the old Stinger model, It would be awesome to watch certain villain wearing it, only to be defeated in the last minute by Bernie.

My vote would be on Vengeance, Nightshade, or Apocalypse. Of course if you wanted to keep with Bernie’s more stealthy style of fighting and use the S names, you could always call it Shinobi.
