The Doc had promised Elder Dominic he would ‘cure’ him. Perhaps he meant not only the zombie mutation… but also the vampiric side as well..?
They have to turn around, and so soon? awww…
anyway…if doc can do this, the zombie virus will be cured (or zombpirism will be). I think doc is going to die*, and soon, regardless of his joe or samual like ability to communicate mentally, else he’ll do too much towards ending the story too quickly.
*death, long term incapacitation, becoming a deus ex machina again for short bursts, vampirism, etc all count here, as it removes him from being able to REALLY screw things up
