Saw Logan last night! It was awesome – definitely my favourite Marvel movie :D

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

——————————-

It felt very different from the “mainstream”/PG Marvel movies, like Avengers, but having familiar and loved characters kept my mind in the Marvel universe, where I grew up seeing the “original” Wolverine and Professor X. Having Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart play their characters in one last incredible movie, seeing how old and worn they were, really brought out the nostalgia and, I admit, I choked up a bit seeing the actors and the characters they portrayed say their final goodbyes :*).

I love that Marvel is able to take their more “adult” characters and make suitable and compelling movies, without worrying about getting a sub-R rating. I love that the Marvel movie universe is growing up with us.

I hope Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart really are done playing their roles. Logan was great goodbye for the old Wolverine and old Professor X. James McAvoy plays a pretty good Prof X so I’m sure we’ll see him again. I imagine Wolverine has to come back too at some point, right? Like in a flashback or origin story or something. If he does, whoever they cast: good friggin’ luck :D I’m sure that in many minds, including mine, there’s only one Wolverine.

Also, the Deadpool short clip before the movie started was hilarious! The ticket price was worth seeing Ryan Reynolds fumble his Deadpool costume on in a cramped phone booth :D

Tension has been rising constantly this whole chapter, and it was bound to blow up at some point. I don’t know what to expect at this point. Will this sneak attack incite more blind rage, or will it come under control somehow? Will the city be literally split into two halves over this rejection of the plants? Maybe these violent attacks from the inside will shake some people to their senses…

Gah, I don’t know anything. I really love it. Keep it up!

Pocalypse readers! Keep voting! It’s not entirely sexy and tempting to be shown on TWC but it is some form of extra visibility for the comic, like advertising. We drive it up, so let’s keep going.

Umm sorry but Logan isn’t even related to Marvel movies. It is made by Fox. Fox has the rights to the x-men and wolferine. Fox is the one making the xmen and wolferine movies and Logan is definitely not part of the Marvel cinematic universe. It is definitely not a marvel movie even though they are using characters that marvel created.

But still have to agree that it is a great movie. One of the rare good comic book movie made by Fox.

@Tio Ba – I don’t think he’ll die. I mean he is one of the main protagonists… unless… Say Joe, how much Game of Thrones have you been watching recently? :)

Bernie has strong will so even being fatal injury he still will fight. Also i dont think Scot gonna kill him rather hurt him for killing his father. But i dont know what i wrote is 100% trust :D

I’m amazed Bernie didn’t suit up when there was an explosion. The stress must be getting to him to not think armor before disaster situation.

They actually talked Scott into trying to kill Bernie? Didn’t see that coming. Him and Jess both out, Rosa in only questionable control of the plants, Joe gone….I think Doc is going to pull what tricks he has remaining up his sleeves out, else New Hammerston is done for. They’re armed for zombies, not machines, and aren’t trained for Bernie’s new weapons yet

@SomeGuy411… Scott has hated Bernie for a while. Maybe you need to reread old episode.
