Prooobabbly not a good idea to tell Joe he has powers, other than maybe that he can’t be harmed so he dosen’t need to be scared (though I guess that’s probabbly the only power he has since he couldn’t get past the doc) n wow that soldier is a wuss, a little pain in exchange for enough power to be a waaay better soldier and eternal life? so he misses the sun a little and has to give really passionate neck kisses, sounds like rosa has the same pain to deal with (or did at first) n she wasn’t a soldier, she was just a coffee girl. if she could take it, that makes him an even bigger wuss (n those brown coat gang…I wonder if they were fans of firefly XD)
Joe, just letting you know I am extremely excited for TPD2 and all the sprites and different units for the factions that you are coming up with seem great and will be a perfect fit into the game. Cant wait till you finally finish it, going to be totally worth the wait.

Poor poor, Mr. Smyth. I feel so bad for him, just trying to be a good soldier and defend the colony and save people and gets mortally wounded then turned into a vampire, that just sounds worse than death.
The thirst… The V-Virus makes your whole body burn like fire all the time. The only relief is ingestation or injection of fresh blood that is absorbend and turned just like your own original blood.
Not a fate I’d like to live with. Well, maybe if there’s Joe-Juice to go with.
What about animal blood? Is there any particulars about vampires ingesting animal blood in this universe? Some say they don’t cause they lack nutrients necessary. Others say they do, but taste horrible.
Typo. Joe says w-we’re those vampires? Instead of w-were those vampires? Other than that fantastic scene.

I think that vampires need to drink the same blood as their base species, because it replaces blood they don’t make anymore (You wouldn’t want another species blood for a transplant, would you)? Sounds like a reasonable explanation to me. So a vampire dog can only drink from other dogs. Probably why the first vampires can walk into a pet store and make an army of obedient vampire dogs too – you can only make the same species because of the similar-species thing.

Loving the comic, Joe. This is awesome stuff. I’m amazed at how you’ve managed to interweave the characters, how they’ve all developed through the course of the series.

Dear Joe,
Do you plan to attempt to get TPD2 on Steam? It would probably increase sales if you succeeded (I know I’d be able to buy it then). Some people can’t buy games from companies their parents don’t know well. Steam is highly trusted by all, even the most paranoid parents. Whether or not you will even read this, I do not know, but please consider it.

In all honestly, your story is FANTASTIC. The rest (comic style) not so much. (NO I haven’t tried your games, maybe I will take a look.) Keep up the good story and I’ll keep coming back. :)

Wait! How about Rosa? I mean she didn’t feel any blood lust after she accidently drained out the kid’s mom. Maybe Rosa actually beginning to make her own blood. Either Harry’s a vampire or zombie vampire got the best of him.
