God Damn it other joe You screwed over countless lives. Other than that Experiment 008? Finally at least a tiny bit of light being shed on Joe’s past.

Oh fuck! So, apparently, Bernie’s dad is responsible for the living machines, what might also imply that he is responsible to what Joe is. I think he was crazier than Doc. But I think I know why, maybe Bernard knew that his wife mind was still alive, like Samuels, and he tried somehow to connect to her mind using some machine and create a new vessel to her mind, just like he did with Sam. The Pocalypse is the BEST! Can I say that I love you author Joe? Because I do <3

Damn, gotta feel sorry for poor Joe, he falls head over heels for a girl, risks his life to save her, gives his very blood but she can’t stop making moves on everyone that isn’t Joe. and the whole problem started when she picked Evil Inner Joe over poor normal Joe. Joe just reacted how anyone would react (minus the super powers and betrayal on a grand scale) though seriously, all he’s tried to do since day one is help n have people acnowledge him. He’s like a Post apocalypse Naruto in a Lot of ways

Inner Joe is such a douchebag! I’m glad we didn’t have to wait too long to find out what happened, and it’s good to finally get a hint of Joe’s back story. Experiment 008 does indeed sound rather interesting.

Lovely work, as usual, Joe! :)

We keep saying “Inner Joe”, but how do we know that’s really apart of Joe? It could be something from the experiment…

Guys, guys, for all of you that are fucking Inner Joe right now, remember, no Inner Joe means no powers for Joe. So he is kinda essential to Joe. Don’t diss the guy. No matter what he did, I bet he’d done it just to kill some robots….right..?

So is Inner Joe the symbiote (spelling?) doc mentioned way back when, or is Inner Joe the partition of Joe’s mind that contracted/synched with the symbiote?
(doc had theorized that the symbiote was what gave Joe his powers)
For the first possibility Inner Joe = superpowers.
For the second one Inner Joe has control but does not provide nor equal superpowers

I think a few things have cleared up with this. My guess is the machines have done some sort of experiment with Samuel, and the result of that experiment was Joe. Given there is Samuel, Inner joe, and Joe. It looks like the machines might have tried to fuse the powers of Samuels mind with an ordinary human (Joe), Inner joe being the result. Clearly, not everything went to plan.

OF course, this gets further complicated when you toss in that Bernie has a mental link to the inner circle of the vampires, and Joe has a link to Dominik. I doubt that Andy will stay idle for much longer also. At this rate, we are going to have a civil war with the vampires, and both the humans and the machines are going to be caught in the middle of it all.

As for the mutants and the plants, who knows. RL joe hasn’t talked much about the plants yet, besides Scrufflebeck.

As a final note… Rosa is a vampire zombie hybrid… Unlike what many thought.

@red Just cause it is dormant does not mean it might not go active at some point.

THAT WAS AWESOME. LOVED THE MUSIC! And since I didn’t get a chance to comment on earlier updates, I will say this quick: I loved the “Changing Personalities” effect on Joe in “Still in There”. That was actually really creepy! Secondly, I am also Mormon. Elder could be considered a rank, although in our religion, it refers to those who go on a two-year thing we call a “mission”. Basically, when we reach the age of 19, we leave to go on a mission for two years (we have no say in where we go, just whether we go or not), during which we go around to different houses teaching about our religion in the hopes that we can spread our gospel and hopefully convert a few people in the process. We start preparing for a mission at age 18, as far as I know. I will be turning 18 in May, so yeah, I am almost there. Those guys you met were probably on their own mission, so if you see any more, please respect them as you did those two, as going on a mission can be really difficult for most people due to what is required of them.

My mind has been blown.

So we now know the machines had a part in whatever happened with Joe. Considering how both Bernard Senior and the machines are connected to Samuel, this all but confirms the long-questioned connection that Bernard is allied with the machines, or was at some point.

Secondly, we have finally settled the debate about whether or not Rosa is a zompire. She’s a regular vampire right now, but the zombie virus is dormant in her right now.

And with the new information sent to the machines, things are going to get even worse for New Hammerston. Bad enough they’ve had so many losses lately between Cross and Dominick, and there’s been a lot of argument shown in-comic. How are they going to handle what will no doubt be a full-scale machine attack? Let’s face it: Joe is something the machines would love to get their hands on, especially right now when he can’t fight back with his powers, so they’ll do whatever it takes to capture him.
