Joe I aboslutely LOVE your comic. It keeps getting better and better! Can’t wait for the next part.

Alex Apocalypse on August 29, 2012 at 1:57 am

Hello, I wanted to say you should try Kickstarter.com to get the rest of the money you need to fund Pocalype 2.

Joe on August 29, 2012 at 1:57 am

Noooooo :(

Lashwrithe on August 29, 2012 at 2:21 am

:O wow always with the cliff hangers!

Nathan on August 29, 2012 at 2:24 am

But in all serious, I think that was one of my favorite episodes from a character development POV. And a perfect ending… whats going to happen!?! :-O

Dean on August 29, 2012 at 2:48 am

Dont you dare kill off berne… i will be so upset he is my favorite!!!

RainLeaf on August 29, 2012 at 3:17 am

Oh snap, artillery. Long range bombardment always works best :/

Nick on August 29, 2012 at 4:48 am

holy! i dont think barnie can stop them but i think if rosa can if she will sense it on the way back to the colony…AND WHAT HAPPENED TO SCRUFFLEBUCK???

Shalidar13 on August 29, 2012 at 10:04 am

or maybe. what if bernie dies, trying to stop the missile from destroying the colony.

unlikely, since hes one of the main characters, but still a possibility. especially that conversation about his future plans kind of made me wary.
imagine the shitstorm that would follow.

– the reaction of his sister, his friends
– the reaction of rosa
– joes reaction (a possible moment of clarity and the start of joe growing as a character?)

melchor on August 29, 2012 at 10:44 am

I liked that sign that the screen scrolled past after all that talk about a ‘perfect being’. “Nobodies Perfect” indeed.

kgy121 on August 29, 2012 at 2:21 pm

Well, that looks more like another robot than a missile, but it certainly looks like a pretty cool missile! Not every day you see missiles with two jets on them instead of one a many. Also not every day you see a missile that looks like an engine instead of a rocket. XD Well, if I were Bernie, I probably would have gotten behind the missile and shot it until it exploded, or at least until it changed course. Can’t wait to see what happens next! I’m guessing either Doc and Rosa will show up and intervene, or Joe will gain the instantaneous transportation and super strength.

illeatyourself on August 29, 2012 at 3:29 pm

It seems like Samuel was very pointed with that conversation- is he trying to start a breeding program of exceptional individuals or something?

Daniel on August 29, 2012 at 3:56 pm

so this is evidence that rosa does have some of Joe’s powers

Not going to say on August 29, 2012 at 4:27 pm

Is it bad that I was hoping he’d chuck Joe at it?

Jermell Williams on August 29, 2012 at 4:46 pm

I’ve been reading the comments and how some people say that Bernie might die…. i am so paranoid for Bernie now, if he goes Jess and the others aren’t going to be the only ones crying :(
You and your cliffhangers Joe, they are placed so well and make me want to scream XD

Katie on August 29, 2012 at 4:51 pm

@Jermell Williams Not really. Joe’s virtually indestructible again right? He’d probably survive though he’d be really pissed that’s for sure.

Jay on August 29, 2012 at 9:40 pm

Jings, thats one heck of a machine, now they have siege weapons? damn that Mobile Missile Launcher looks kinda evil.

Genome Robi on August 30, 2012 at 6:46 am

So, the town doctor was able to walk to the machine city in like a day, right? What is that, 30 miles?

Why don’t they manufacture a missile that can cover the range from the city to the New Hammerston? THIS IS THE ONLY INCONSISTENCY IN THE COMIC AND ITS RUINING EVERYTHING, lol

Grant on August 30, 2012 at 9:41 pm

@Grant – Good point! Don’t worry though, it will be explained :D Thanks for bringing it up!

Joe on August 31, 2012 at 1:53 am

how many days i can play thepocalyspe defence 2

Albert on August 31, 2012 at 3:53 am

@Albert – We don’t have an official release date yet but we’re aiming for December! :D Thanks for waiting!

Joe on August 31, 2012 at 10:42 am

silly Grant, Joe doesn’t make mistakes

Not going to say on August 31, 2012 at 4:50 pm

I’m not sure why they didn’t just throw joe, or shoot the missle (Bernie’s a sniper and it’s moving in a straight line).

r2d2go on August 31, 2012 at 6:38 pm

*Missile machine comes*

Ter on September 1, 2012 at 5:02 am

Joe, first of all: Love your comic. Been reading from the start and loving it, always happy to see a new episode. You leave some good cliffhangers, making people sweat and pray while they wait. You make the characters very interesting, too. Each one has a definite personality, nobody seems bland.

Now, on the missile. Damn! This could lead to a really big trouble. I kind of hope that Bernie manages to get a good line of fire, stop and shoot a solid series of hits to the missile to either knock it off course or to blow it up where it is. Just a question of how close he needs to get in order to get an accurate sight of it, and whether the missile or his armor’s jets prove faster.

Also, missing Scrufflebeck but I am certain you got a good plan in mind and looking forward to seeing what comes out!

Winterfeline on September 1, 2012 at 10:44 am

at the guys who are asking, why bernie doesnt just shoot the missile.

probably simply, because that missile is huge and a tiny bullet (if he is using a regular sniper rifle) wont probably do more than scratch the surface a little.

a missile like that normally isnt armed when fired. it is armed, when it comes into close distance of its target, shortly before impact.

its unlikely, that firing a bullet at it, will trigger the detonation or get it off course.

melchor on September 1, 2012 at 9:22 pm

okay, so this just occurred to me when I was going back through chapter 7 today…when Dr Torres (or whatever you wanna call him) created the shells, didn’t he start by infecting them with the zombie virus? And, basing off of the belief that Rosa gets her zombie immunity from Joe’s blood, wouldn’t she technically be getting her power from the virus in the first place? Or was there some completely different part of her that was immune in the first place?! AHH! I’m gonna be up all night…btw, great scene!!! Please don’t kill off Bernie…..or the colony!!!
