Slowly Turning Into Jelly | April 17, 2020

Feeling more and more lethargic these days, especially with gyms closed. Finding motivation to workout is tough since I can’t do my favourite “workout” activity: shooting hoops. I need something fun to spark a workout session. Basketball is fun for me and it so happens to a good workout. Unfortunately, I don’t find running fun, Pokemon Go is not a fun enough motivator to start jogging, and Ring Fit Adventure is sold out everywhere (assuming it’s fun haha). What are you doing these days to get your body moving?

I just force myself to do a minimum amount of weight lifting every morning. If motivation for a more elaborate workout emerges, great. If not, I did the one thing at least.

Getting workouts done in the morning help a lot as your body is still a bit asleep and you can trick yourself into working out more. It’s also good to start early as later in the day stuff pops up and before you know it it’s late and the day is gone.

For running I have an elliptical at home and I watch an anime episode or two while running and it keeps me distracted otherwise I wouldn’t even last 5 minutes.

Running is my jam. It’s difficult starting out, but once you get used to it, it’s the closest we can get to the liberation of flight after a long day.

On another note, either Scrufflebeck is a cunning doggo, or there’s more to the plant ESP link. Could be a clue to Rosa’s future development. Nice chapter Joe!
