Indiegogo? Why not Kickstarter. If I would ever make a game (which is in plan) I would surely try to get my funding from there. More known, which possibly mean more potential supporters. But it’s your choice :)
I checked the site, but I found the funding a bit weird. If I would be somehow insanely rich (which I am sadly not) and donate you a 1000$ than because it is stated there that all previous things apply I could be an npc, a hero and a boss at the same time? :/ How would that work out?
Anyways, good luck with this project. Wish I can support it, but I’m from Eastern Europe and I’m poor as heck :D Then again I thought this would be a free flash game like the first one. Now that I mentioned it, you might want to just simply leave the two from the title then, makes more sense from the marketing perspective and rename the flash game to Pocalypse defence Zero or something.
Why didn’t you use kickstarter? I think it would gain more notability than on indiegogo

@Brutalacid – No, sorry, it will not be free! You do get the game if you fund any tier, though! :D
@Otter & Andre – Yeah, Kickstarter was our first choice, but unfortunately, they don’t allow anyone without a US bank account to start a campaign. But, I believe the strength of a campaign comes from the project itself and the power of people sharing it! :D So, please spread the word!
As for the Big Boss Tier, yes, you would get all three – you would get an NPC sprite and a talking head for it for the game and the party scene, a Hero sprite and a talking head that would be different from the NPC (that we would discuss), and a boss that we design together, which would be much bigger and menacing than a sprite :D
@Not going to say – We don’t have the technical specs for you yet, but yes, but if you can play other 2D games on your laptop, it should be playable! :D

@edge – If you can play most 2D games on your Acer and you have Windows running on it, then yes, it should work! It won’t be available on your iPod though, sorry! iPad only, since the screen is large :D

Man… I just wish I could help you with my debit card, since I have no credit card yet… Paypal isnt one to help me either (tried, not worked). I guess the best can do is wish you luck for now. Way to go by the way! A released game in several platforms will get you even more fans than usual :p
Yeah, I’d like to give some cash to this too, but I don’t have a direct means. Maybe I’ll set some of my personal cash aside and then ask someone for help… not sure if my wife would be too pleased with me giving $500, so I guess I’ll be out on getting to be the Hero =/
Such is life though. But still, I’d like to help. I’ll donate a bit when I can, that aside I’ll spread the word, who knows what will happen from that point on?
Also, pretty cool that you’ve shown us your face (and voice) now. Gotta say, one of the things I love about this comic, as opposed to Homestuck, is how much more accessible you are.

I don’t have means to fund this right now (no international card), but I really wish the best of luck for you Joe. I’ve been there since the beginning of this comic and I can say you improved the story a lot more that I tought possible. To be honest I wasn’t very sure about this webcomic success at it’s start, specially because I was expecting a lot of “scientific mistakes” or something like this (no, I’m not an asshole, that’s just because I’m a scientist) :P But I have to say you did quite well ’til now, just some small inconsistencies but nothing unforgivable. The story became much more exciting as well, it’s amazing how you added action and drama around a humorous main character, really impressive.
Anyway, I’ll do my best to spread the word around. I have high expectatives on this game AND the comic Joe-san, don’t disappoint me :D
*clears throat* So yeah. Give Joe money. I did. And I’m already happy with the results. I got to see a little green bar and a number increase! Totally worth five bucks! :D Watching progress bars happens to be one of my favorite past times.

Hey Joe, any idea on a release date? If everything goes to plan, of course. Because if it releases too late, I might just be kissing my 3rd semester of College GPA good bye, if you know what I mean. I’ve actually been playing defense 1 in anticipation for defense 2. I know that knowing you, this will live up to expectations. Good luck with the campaign, and yet again, congratulations on your son. I’m sure he’s already a handful, and, trust me, will continue to be well after he’s in college. :)

If I had 500/1000 bucks to spare, I would totally donate it -.-. It would be a mage who controls earth and deals AOE damage,knockback, and stun, much like the old pocalypse lazer! Except it would be like a 5×5 square where a earth spike pops up, and knocks in the direction the enemy is in. I make all the stats and weaponry and such for videogames in my spare time because I want to make games but fail at coding -.-, so I have over 9000 ideas for heroes and bosses, but can never use them in a game. I will see if I can get 500 bucks to spare in less than 38 days…
