Thanks for voting for Bernie’s decision, everyone! Voting is now closed :D Now, we can vote for Jess’ decision!
Should Jess stay at the Base with Harry and wait for Joe to wake up? Or, should she set out on her own and try to rescue Nick without anyone else knowing? Vote in the forums and let me know! :D
Oh man! What a morning we had yesterday! I didn’t get the scene up until now because we had to go to the immigration office to clear up some stuff for our baby (not us! :D). It wasn’t a nerve-wracking experience, since it was just our little 8-month-old who was in “trouble”, but it made me think about how adults could go through this no-visa procedure. We were given a detention order (yeah, like jail time, kinda!), but obviously, a little baby can’t be put in a detention center, so it wasn’t enforced. If an adult went through this, he/she would be ordered to stay in a room and wait for his/her sentence, such as deportation, unless he/she was able to appeal successfully. Granted, the Japanese system is professional and not corrupt (ahem, relatively), so a detained person wouldn’t receive treatment like the people on “Banged Up Abroad” (check that out, it’s pretty fascinating to see how some countries treat foreign criminals), but the feeling of possibly being kicked out of a country must be terrible! Thankfully, everything is cleared up, the weight is off our shoulders, and all is well! Another lesson learned the hard way :D
Anyways, in other news, I made a Twitter account for Joe/Powerfist @PowerfistJoe, so if you want to follow him and say “What’s up, Joe? I ____ you.” feel free! :D
