I’m awful at naming things haha What do you think Phillip should name his new guard “dog”? I was thinking something along the lines of Candice and Darren, their fallen friends, but I didn’t think it would fit appropriately. Summer seems to go faster every year :D Kids are going back to school, one for the first time, and it’s going to be the first time in 7 years my wife and I have had the day to ourselves. Were gonna miss our little ones but we’re also really excited! Since we’re both home-based and self-employed, I’m hoping for a huge jump in productivity so I can update you guys with some stuff that’s been kicking around!

How about K-9 (pronounced “canine”) or Rog, short for robot dog? I’ll have to think of better names.
Just call him boy for the rest of the comic, since that’s generally what he’s going to be referred to anyway.
I… disagree with the stereotypical K-9. It’s a little too cliché. How about something with vaguely symbolic of his new voyage of self-discovery? “Hope” or a similar thing… Neo or Nova, because of all the new things ahead?
I vote the robot name be Argentum. In color and in class of name, the machines may approve of Latin.

Call the dog Caleb after the Israelite who led Israel into the promised land. The name Caleb has an association to dogs.
How about Noah? Enoch? Samael? Abaddon? Something Biblical would make sense for him. Maybe even some evil figure since he’s slowly losing faith.

@meodrac An interesting idea. Biblical themes, a decent amount of fear on Phillip’s part, a pretty interesting name that can easily be shortened… I like the name Azzy, short for Azazel, the angel of death.
Wait, I think I meant Azrael. Too bad I can’t edit that. It still shortens to the same thing! Maybe one could be the true name, and the other the insulting name his father gives it?
Caleb checks out as one of two scouts who would no deter the Israelites from taking the land and who later would lead the campaign for a certain area in a general-ish position. The name most likely translates as something like “ferocious like a dog” Moses only saw the land from afar shortly before his death.
I think “Ark” would be awesome because it’s the name of something that once gave them hope…
Also, it is a vehicle which provides safety. On the other hand they already had an ark. It got shredded by the sea monster.
