This has definitely been a week to remember. I got into a no-fault car accident where, thankfully, no one was hurt but I’ve had to deal with losing a car this whole week. Being my first accident, I was a bit shook but what really broke my heart was how distraught my kids were. Lots of love and hugs later, we’re all okay, everything fine and the show goes on :D Thank you all for your patience with the scene!
Speaking of shows, I stumbled across “The Boys” on Amazon Prime Video. I really, really recommend it if you don’t mind a little gore and controversy. It’s an amazingly well-cast and written spin on the very dark side of superhero culture. I may pick up the comics that the show is based on!

Wow. Just when I thought you had decided to kill Jess….. Well. Ok. This is interesting! This way Adrian gets revenge for his wife. What happens to the kids if Simon dies though. Do they still continue being able to grow their powers? Is he like a child queen bee? Or has he just unlocked all of their ‘X’ genes?
HELL YEAH! Despite Jess getting knocked out that last scene is SO delightful. I am kinda worried the whole “mama it hurts” thing wasn’t just a trick as the innocent kid would be killed in the process but man, I sure do love tyrants getting shot. Adrian is a confirmed badass.
