Jess’ Turn! 10/05/2011

by Joe

SPOILERS AHEAD! Please watch today’s scene first! :D

Thanks for voting for Bernie’s decision, everyone! Voting is now closed :D Now, we can vote for Jess’ decision!

Should Jess stay at the Base with Harry and wait for Joe to wake up? Or, should she set out on her own and try to rescue Nick without anyone else knowing? Vote in the forums and let me know! :D

Oh man! What a morning we had yesterday! I didn’t get the scene up until now because we had to go to the immigration office to clear up some stuff for our baby (not us! :D). It wasn’t a nerve-wracking experience, since it was just our little 8-month-old who was in “trouble”, but it made me think about how adults could go through this no-visa procedure. We were given a detention order (yeah, like jail time, kinda!), but obviously, a little baby can’t be put in a detention center, so it wasn’t enforced. If an adult went through this, he/she would be ordered to stay in a room and wait for his/her sentence, such as deportation, unless he/she was able to appeal successfully. Granted, the Japanese system is professional and not corrupt (ahem, relatively), so a detained person wouldn’t receive treatment like the people on “Banged Up Abroad” (check that out, it’s pretty fascinating to see how some countries treat foreign criminals), but the feeling of possibly being kicked out of a country must be terrible! Thankfully, everything is cleared up, the weight is off our shoulders, and all is well! Another lesson learned the hard way :D

Anyways, in other news, I made a Twitter account for Joe/Powerfist @PowerfistJoe, so if you want to follow him and say “What’s up, Joe? I ____ you.” feel free! :D

Enjoy Scene 21 – “Worried About That Idiot”!

Please continue to vote and get yourself a Cubert wallpaper! :D Thank you for voting everyday!

You can follow The Pocalypse on Facebook, Twitter and RSS, too!

Keep playing BlockHopper beta and please keep sending us feedback! Thanks for playing! :D

Jess should stay. After all, it’d be far too late for her to help if something DID go wrong, she’s too far away.

Besides, I want to see a good ol’ fashioned mutant dog fight.

Locke on October 5, 2011 at 3:58 pm

hmmm is that supposed to be a werewolf? oh man, i was hoping you would go with the ones that walk on two leg rather than four.oh well. at least its a wolf (or mutant dog )so its a win

i bet the Doctor gets attacked and can’t do shit and gets saved by scruffleback who will most likely more or less easily defeat the poor wolf.maybe gets injured in the fight. op well, won’t know until the next episode…can’t wait.

hellhound on October 5, 2011 at 4:44 pm

I vote stay.

Roth’s gonna hafta deal with his own goddamn mess. ‘sides, if he needed help, he’d be dead before she got there.

Delta-Pangaea on October 5, 2011 at 4:45 pm

It seems fairly angry.

Lukesf on October 5, 2011 at 5:13 pm

hellhound: I think it’s just a mutant dog. However, it has not yet been revealed if the werewolves in this story have which wolf form, or if they have both. It’s entirely possible Greybane (and other werewolves) could turn into a humanoid wolfman and a regular wolf.

Volpethrope on October 5, 2011 at 5:33 pm

I would say stay. We’ve all seen the power of Scrufflebeck, I reckon he’ll keep Nick safe.

WilcoCharlie on October 5, 2011 at 5:35 pm

sneak out and rescue nick!!

"S" on October 5, 2011 at 5:46 pm

Hey, thanks for adding my mother to The Pocalypse!

terrorpeach on October 5, 2011 at 5:49 pm

Jess should stay. After all there will be a miracle to save him for sure.

Alex on October 5, 2011 at 6:42 pm

i vote she stays

mutant hunter on October 5, 2011 at 6:46 pm

cute doggie^^

Some Guy From Germany on October 5, 2011 at 7:29 pm

I vote Jess stays. I can only imagine what would happen if Joe wakes up and is all alone… he might look ‘inward’ for company.

MaveriKat on October 5, 2011 at 8:52 pm

I personally hope that if Jess stays or goes, Nick gets bitten and turns into the first(or a, I say first because that isn’t a werewolf from the looks of it, more a mutant mutt, and there have been no werewolves so far) werewolf! Nice twist! :D I was thinking that it isn’t THE Pocalypse unless there’s EVERYTHING, including werewolves.

Sweet_Ride on October 5, 2011 at 9:19 pm

Is that another plant-dog? Perhaps Scufflebeg’s stransformation is sooner than we thought!

NeoWarrior on October 5, 2011 at 10:54 pm

Jess should stay

lolcoptr on October 6, 2011 at 12:26 am

OMG its graybane!!!

drew on October 6, 2011 at 12:34 am

I vote Jess stays, because the characters are dispersed enough. If she goes out, we’ll have a lot of separated mini-stories. No thanks. è_é

Lolwut on October 6, 2011 at 2:25 am

How did this even seem like a choice, from what I understand Herpderpington is a universally disliked character. He is my new Gary(Motherfucking) Oak, you are supposed to like him but I just want to tear his face off. Its a shame because there are few regular humans.(But who needs them when we have Joe right?)

bobsickle on October 6, 2011 at 3:26 am

Yall are seeing it wrong, the dog is going to help Him :D

Anonymous_Jr on October 6, 2011 at 4:21 am

here doggy doggy!!!

anon on October 6, 2011 at 4:52 am

Stay, i’m looking forward to a plant dog vs. mutant dog battle, and besides i think there’s some romance foreshadowing going on here. Jess seems to care alot ’bout joe. On a different note, i did mention a few vids ago that there’s still is whether inner or outer (i hope for outer) comes through, but i figure inner joe will be to tired (cause he’s keeping them alive) to take control. Oh, what happened to rosa? Anyways… Thumbs up by me!! XD

Decifer on October 6, 2011 at 4:52 am

”Jess’ turn’are you sick Joe?AND WEREWOLVES ARE REAL WOOOOOOO

Edward on October 6, 2011 at 5:07 am

….Greybane! You poor old dog, oh you didn’t think Scrufflebeck could recognize you in your mutant dog form? Well I don’t blame you, you couldn’t think what with all the drugs, steroids, and whatnot the machines been feeding you anyway.
Good to see you, also painful!

sh4d0wfl4re on October 6, 2011 at 7:04 am

Forget the dirtbag. Jess should stay. Sides, even if she went, she wouldnt catch up.

Dr. C on October 6, 2011 at 7:18 am

Suddenly, Deathclaw!

I didn’t realize the Enclave were active in the New Hammerston Area, Joe.

Aethrys on October 6, 2011 at 7:59 am

So I feel like Nick is going to be fine, and Jess should stay for the sake of keeping most of the story arc in the colony. When the story ark expanded outside it was slower to create all of the parts and the flow was thrown off. If you keep as many people as possible within the walls the story should be able to flow better. So I vote stay with Joe.

Joshua on October 6, 2011 at 8:54 am

Lol @Aethrys

I vote stay!

Sefrin on October 6, 2011 at 11:04 am

Geoff on October 6, 2011 at 12:52 pm

I vote she should stay cuz i relly wanna see if she’ll start punchen joe

Kj on October 6, 2011 at 2:49 pm

i vote stay itll be to late when she gets there eny way plus whot if joe wakes up whill shes not there also scruffle backs with him enyway in other words forget the ballsack

the slayer on October 6, 2011 at 2:51 pm

why is everyone saying it is Greybane? it looks a lot more like a zombie dog. This would explain what happened to the dogs in the Pocalypse.

lukeape on October 6, 2011 at 3:46 pm

Cesar Millan says: “The way to demonstrate your dominance to any canine is to assume a ‘mounting’ position. All Dr. Derpington has to do is straddle it like a Boss, and it will accept him as the Alpha Male.”

Norman D. Landings on October 6, 2011 at 5:00 pm

Wahahaha! Go, Zaghnol! This year’s specimen is a real monster!

Snerky on October 6, 2011 at 5:07 pm

@Dairadh A real pocalypse is not controlled at all. I think Joe is making the story better by having 4+ situations going on at once. Makes it all feel hectic, which is how it would be if this were to happen.

Sweet_Ride on October 6, 2011 at 7:28 pm

Jess should stay. Why? I want that idiot dead.

Anon on October 6, 2011 at 8:22 pm

Holy… a werewolf!

Shade Person on October 6, 2011 at 9:58 pm

Jess stays. End of story.

Lukeape, the dogs probably are in other colonies. How would’ve the plant monsters – like Scrufflebeck – have turned in dogs? ( Btw,Scrufflebeck is going to headshot the dog.. once Nick is dead. )

Happy Vampire on October 6, 2011 at 10:46 pm

YoYoDude on October 7, 2011 at 1:08 am

@Sweet_Ride, I can’t say you’re wrong, but I have to admit that actually, I’m not interested in the side stories of Pocalypse. It’s not because they’re side stories, but because I don’t find them exciting or anything, contrary to what happen to Joe. It’s not a matter of the pocalypse being (or not being) controlled, it’s just that if there is more side stories (yes, I know, they are all major characters but I still think Joe is the centre of everything), they’re will be less scenes about Joe.

Sorry for my level of english, I’m tired and french. x)

Dairadh on October 7, 2011 at 2:27 am
