Poor outer Joe. My heart bled when she was saying those terrible things(although mostly she was true)
Awesome scene “first”

Duchy on June 28, 2011 at 9:49 am

First~ On Facebook too.

Wow. Rosa’s. a. bitch.

Keith on June 28, 2011 at 9:49 am

That was painfull to watch. I feel really bad for Powerfist.

Matthew on June 28, 2011 at 9:50 am

where is joe ? and what is this thing that lives inside him ?

Filds on June 28, 2011 at 9:51 am

He deserved it.

*Commence hate comments*

Yoinkinator on June 28, 2011 at 9:56 am

Should we do another repoll?

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 10:08 am

sad that it happened…over 80% true..but…just evil
although even i wanna know…why was Joe in the Hospital at first and who really is in Joe
there are cases of 2 people in 1 body but one being normal and the other giving super abilities is strange….family related..mabye
experiment by someone…mabye
raped by satan…possibly

scavenger on June 28, 2011 at 10:12 am

He deserved it, totally… Even when he was dissapearing he kept saying he was Powerfist… More like Moron-Fist to me… I mean, can’t he even take a hint? No one answer that question…
BTW- can’t Rosa kind of “combine” both consciences of Joe into a single one? One’s who’s only part dummy part freaky?????

NeoWarrior on June 28, 2011 at 10:12 am

I don’t think he deserved it. I think Inner Joe deserves to die.

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 10:16 am

Oh. And so does Rosa.

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 10:17 am

wow rosa is one stone cold bitch first i liked them together this prety muchended that

ryan on June 28, 2011 at 10:22 am

I wasn’t expecting Rose to be such a bitch. What she said did have some truth in it, though. I hope that Inner Joe’s rise to power is only temporary, and that Outer Joe comes back soon. But not too soon.

bobbaganoosh on June 28, 2011 at 10:25 am

Outer Joe returns whenever Inner Joe gets beat up. I hope Rosa dies first.

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 10:38 am

Pauvre fille fait ce qu’elle avait à……..she genuinely was sorry for dismissing outer Joe, but in such a sitution where lives are at stake, decisions must be made as well as sacrifices……….

Ro'Vage St Laurent on June 28, 2011 at 10:57 am

Still, it was Joe who liked Rosa and JOE who gave the blood and not powerfist.

Keith on June 28, 2011 at 11:11 am

Rosa is evil! >:C

Nick on June 28, 2011 at 11:29 am

I was hoping for a merge, I think that the inner joe would have never survived at first, and that the outer joe would have not survived on his own. They worked together to stay alive, and now everything’s been torn asunder. I think this is some sort of deeper meaning as well. I guess that the art of compromise is dead.

Pat on June 28, 2011 at 11:57 am

Haha… Rosa’s getting more criticism in the comments for insulting Joe (and only so she can release Inner Joe and save both of them) than Rusty did for killing a room full of people + mutants (to save his own skin).

Zach on June 28, 2011 at 12:10 pm

I want Rosa to die. I’ll add her to my private list of people-who-I-want-to-die. :D

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 1:59 pm

(as far as I know)If outer joe is gone for good, then inner joe would’ve gone too. So I hope outer joe kicks Inner Joe and Rosa’s ass.

asdasd on June 28, 2011 at 2:02 pm

okay first of all to those that are mad at Rosa look in on from her side. She does have a valid point for being mad at Joe and telling that he is ignorant and stubborn (sadly I agree with her on that.) Plus Joe was getting a bit creepy with telling Rosa that they were married. YET! There is a yet here, it is possible that Rosa is still in denial in a lot of ways and is taking it out on poor Joe here, so its not like shes being mean on purpose maybe but is just taking it out on him sadly and also anyone else notice her hair is to be all black but when it shows here talking there is still some brown?

sykes on June 28, 2011 at 2:10 pm

Joe tried to force her to marry him, in my book that makes calling him scum an insult to an important part of the ecosystem. He deserved everything that he got and more.

(And aattss? Quit being an immature prick.)

The Ghost on June 28, 2011 at 2:13 pm

Honestly people, Outer Joe is incredibly arrogant and self-centered. Rosa is completely justified here. Aside from having some sense of entitlement, and thinking the world should revolve around him, (Yes, he is the main character, but still…) OJ (Not simpson) gets upset that other people rain on his end of the world by not being dead, and essentially thinks “I’ve got super powers, lookitme, I’m special!” IJ, whatever he is, is the one actually responsible for said powers, and if it wasn’t for him, OJ would have been killed by the first zombie, or when Jess shot him.
Besides, it’s not like Rosa is killing OJ, it’s just that IJ is ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL (Of this form) and OJ is now stuck watching events unfold like IJ is 90% of the time.

Aethrys on June 28, 2011 at 3:05 pm

she is justified in picking inner joe over outer joe, but was it nessisary to kill him? he didnt even fight back. Though he might not be actually dead, but now i see them going on some quest to bring him back. Where outer joe is arrogant and rude, inner joe is manipulating and seems to have a different agenda… kinda reminds me of a certian zompire from the starting.
well made scene Joe, well done. not a long scene, but alot of drama.

Leviticus on June 28, 2011 at 3:20 pm

@Leviticus OJ is not dead. He didn’t die when the elder released IJ the last time, so it stands to reason he isn’t dead now.
He’s just in the position usually occupied by IJ. Watching events unfold from the dream realm without being able to influence them. (Well, IJ could, by controlling their invulnerability, but I don’t think OJ suddenly assumes that role.)

Aethrys on June 28, 2011 at 3:25 pm

She better make him a sandwich when they get back…

Malicust on June 28, 2011 at 3:49 pm

Maybe outer Joe will learn how to release inner Joe when he learns how to have humility.

Levi on June 28, 2011 at 3:57 pm

THAT WAS SO SHORT! Gimme moar! lol

Professor on June 28, 2011 at 4:07 pm

Poor Outer Joe…I mean she was right, but I really do feel sad for OJ.I actually shed a few tears after this.

CrazyFool on June 28, 2011 at 4:24 pm

Maybe Inner Joe (and Rosa) will finally get their death they deserve. By the way, Outer Joe didn’t try to force Rosa to marry him. He thought he was already married with her. Outer Joe is slightly phycological, but not much else.

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 4:24 pm

@aattss He’s also a complete jerk. In fact, he’s the third biggest jerk in this comic, behind cross and rusty. I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that Rosa deserves to die from, all she did was make the decision most likely to result in their survival. And it’s hard to pass judgement on IJ, since he gets like 10% of the screen time. Bottom line: OJ got them into the mess they’re in with the plant monsters, now IJ has to clean up after him.
Also, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that IJ and OJ have a symbiotic relationship, and you can’t kill one without killing both. Or if you COULD kill IJ, OJ would lose all of his abilities.

Aethrys on June 28, 2011 at 4:42 pm

Joe deserved it.

Maybe this will help straighten him out.

Riou on June 28, 2011 at 4:53 pm

No one really noticed that rose is a child like joe. Not in the bad way one would think of a child, but the innocence the blind faith and good will. But she also has the blunt thruth. Joe on the other hand is selfish, self centered, greedy, does not understand consequences of his actions. Since Rosa has that childish faith she felt hurt that joe could not keep his promise to get her back to the colony. So don’t hate on her for feeling hurt.

Alex on June 28, 2011 at 5:20 pm

Outer Joe is too blunt and stupid to be selfish, self centered, or greedy. Also, Rosa never put any trust in Outer Joe. I’m finding it hard to try to explain. Finally, Outer Joe did not deserve to be permanently killed and replaced by Inner Joe.

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 5:48 pm

What are you talking about, Outer Joe is selfish, and f***ing obnoxious.

It’s like being sad over Light’s death in the Death Note manga.

Rosa should have done it before, and Inner Joe is a badass.

Happy Demon on June 28, 2011 at 6:08 pm

I believe that people are blaming Rosa for this, it’s the people’s vote, they knew this is what would have probably happened, HOWEVER I do not believe Outer Joe deserved what he got, everyone sits there and blames his bad qualities, Joe has good qualities, he’s protective, trustworthy, and brave. Last time I looked, those are great qualities, Joe just could have not cared and not chased after her, meaning Rosa would have probably died by Greybane.

TomBomb on June 28, 2011 at 6:15 pm

Outer Joe decided not to join up with Andrius twice (though first time was a near miss and another time it was an accident).

I warned on the forums that following Inner Joe would be evil-related, and tada.

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 7:27 pm

Why can’t Joe have a cookie D:

Plant-machine-werewolf-zombie-vampire-mutant-Joe on June 28, 2011 at 7:34 pm

Or at least mindcraft one… A big one

Plant-machine-werewolf-zombie-vampire-mutant-Joe on June 28, 2011 at 7:36 pm

I think that only a number of things can save Outer Joe.

1. The elder vampire has a chat with Outer Joe and boosts his ego
2. One of the other and probably evil vampires/zombpires manipulates him (Rosa counts as evil)
3. The doc comes up with something like a dream world communication device
4. Inner Joe gets knocked out and somehow Outer Joe feels encouraged
5. Something infeasible like timetravel

aattss on June 28, 2011 at 7:41 pm

I’m surprised so many people are butthurt over their own decision. People voted for Rosa to choose Inner Joe.

Prince Platypus on June 28, 2011 at 8:54 pm

i hate ROSA!!waaaahh >.<

ejay24 on June 28, 2011 at 9:39 pm

Dude, why the heck would Rosa choose Joe? I mean I like Joe in all cause the man is funny but Inner Joe vs Normal Joe in a fight? Rosa probably like Normal Joe more but she doesn’t see him as being as strong as Inner Joe. I mean Inner Joe was the one that told Joe how to save her life, Inner Joe was the one fought on equal grounds with the elder, and Inner Joe is the one that complements her mental strength while Joe just complains. What I want to see now is Inner Joe beat the crap out of something and Rosa realize her mistake because I think Inner Joe is a new breed of monster caused by the Pocalypse (Abomination if you will).

Gluttony on June 28, 2011 at 9:47 pm

Rosa probably likes* (Just to keep the grammar Nazis happy)

Gluttony on June 28, 2011 at 9:51 pm

We didn’t know that Rosa would be so hard with Joe. :'(

alexdomini on June 28, 2011 at 9:55 pm

Harsh Rosa O_O But then, I’d probably choose the same. Joe annoys me sometimes :x Even so… I was quite shocked when Rosa said those things. She had seemed so nice.

Mini on June 28, 2011 at 11:41 pm

maybe he was alone and had bad experience, that why now that he have power he was like that, feel sorry for him even is some are true.

dragoduval on June 29, 2011 at 12:18 am

Oh how these endings make me crazy, besides that Inner Joe has the right mind set for a person who can get them out of that situation regardless of weather Outer Joe deserved the thrashing or not

SpiritOfAdventure on June 29, 2011 at 12:56 am

wow, that was unexpected. poor Joe :(

YoYoDude on June 29, 2011 at 1:07 am

I don’t think the old Joe is done yet. Nah I think he will come back better then ever, besides I think Joe’s ‘Super-ego’ is more of a jerk then the real Joe. :P He’s organized and manipulative where normal Joe is more instinctual and unorganized. Soon Rosa’s going to realize her mistake when the new Joe starts becoming a bigger jerk then the previous Joe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Id,_ego_and_super-ego This situation kinda reminds me of this wiki entry lol. More then likely i’m over analyzing but I am Loving this storyline even though its sad to see normal Joe crushed under the weight of grief and Rosa’s anger. =(

Corerue on June 29, 2011 at 2:01 am

I like what alternate joe said let’s go make some fucking salad epic one liner in my opinion.

Zerotech68 on June 29, 2011 at 4:11 am

poor Rosa, she must feel bad about this…but if Joe ever comes out,he will either come out calm,or completely enraged, but will probably have learned a lesson too.in the cases he doesn’t come out,he’s gonna wreak havoc from within

Dojel on June 29, 2011 at 4:16 am

You guys. I wrote on two chapters telling you not to choose inner Joe. so now everyone is basically crying saying”why did I choose inner Joe?!” So shut up because I check this every time listening to you all moaning to how “Rosa’s so evil”speech it’s pissing me off. okay I watched it was mean how Rosa treated him, BUT He did deserve it. I’m not siding with anyone here because you guys keep arguing about Rosa so try not to do this again…

hein on June 29, 2011 at 4:23 am

also, after being treated like this by his inner companion…i am thinking he won’t be ass cocky about his powers if he gets out…infact,he will attempt everything to get rid of them, now that the source of them treated him like the crap he kinda is…gotta take away the scars of a bad encouter…but can’t get the scars out of his arm…so hell just cut off the arm, and,if that won’t work, the rest of his body too, while he’s at it

Dojel on June 29, 2011 at 4:29 am

@hein i know your right but why? why Joe?!

Star on June 29, 2011 at 4:38 am

Lets go make some F$%king salad

Saladman on June 29, 2011 at 4:59 am

For all you Rosa agree-ers out there. I believe it is OBVIOUS she is a bitch. True or not, delicacy has not been added to the equation anytime, she didnt have patience, and she was MIERCELESS with OJ, even though OJ is the CONCIENCE that made IJ do what he did, true, IJ was in charge of keeping him alive, but shit, IJ wouldnt have cared shit abt anyone! And IJ is still the same stubborn asshole! only that he’s badass!I believe Rosa should be punished, almost dead, left by OJ or cheated by IJ, and then be saved by OJ, realizing she’s been a bitch. IMO she didnt justify shit, OJ would have dumbily saved her, despite the trouble. What i see here is clear disregard to the person who just saved your life, and new thirst of blood, AND the guy who suggested looking for YOU in the first place!! Because lets be sincere, who made everyone look for Rosa? It was OJ! She went all out on the person who saved her in a way even harder than that Bernie, that who gave it all for her, even blood, she was undelicate and outrageous on the wrong person, and distrusted the person for whom she’s alive, going back to New Hamerston, and satisfied her of her thirst! She’s a bitch who couldnt fight against her insecurity. A weak bitch, but a bitch. That is my opinion.

Luio on June 29, 2011 at 5:11 am

PS: the fact that OJ is a self-centered person, is just to make this Comic alot more interesting ¬¬ you got to admit, even if stubborn, he saves lifes, and has a big heart hidden by his insecure bragging.

Luio on June 29, 2011 at 5:15 am

About time he got a few kicks to the ol’ pride. As much as I enjoy this comic, the characterization has never really been my favorite thing. Here’s hoping that Joe uses this to develop more as a person (and make his escapades more interesting to follow!)

Rad Cat on June 29, 2011 at 5:28 am

What is with all those green ripples at the end?Is it Inner Joe’s Full Power?

Edward on June 29, 2011 at 7:31 am

I didn’t know about any voting, because I just watch the comic, but I also would have chosen Inner Joe. Don’t care how Rosa treats Outer Joe.

I look at it from a purely tactical perspective.

It’s been stated already that Outer Joe has NO powers whatsoever, and that Inner Joe is the one lending him said powers, but that it’s limited due to him not being in control. Therefore, Inner Joe taking the reigns in such a situation would be best because he has a better grasp on his own powers than Outer Joe could. That’s all there is to it. I see no reason to complain whatsoever. And aattss, how about a bit more tact and a little less butt-hurt.

Acadian Bacon on June 29, 2011 at 8:54 am

“Outer Joe is too blunt and stupid to be selfish, self centered, or greedy. Also, Rosa never put any trust in Outer Joe. I’m finding it hard to try to explain. Finally, Outer Joe did not deserve to be permanently killed and replaced by Inner Joe.”
@aattss – What? You think stupid people can’t be selfish, and you also think OJ isn’t? What web comic have you been reading? And Rosa DID trust OJ. She trusted him over her own feeling that continuing into the plant territory was a bad idea, and that is what got her into the mess she is now in. Trusting OJ is what caused her to be trapped in a pod filled with acid. You’re finding this hard to explain because you’ve got some rose tinted lenses you view OJ through, and are blinded to his flaws. And, OJ is NOT dead. He is just how IJ was before Rosa released him, viewing things from the dream realm. I know this because that is exactly what happened when the elder vampire released Inner Joe in the church. Outer Joe didn’t die then, so he shouldn’t be dead now. Rosa was blunt here, but she was kind and put up with OJ’s crap for a very long time, and now she’s finally gotten fed up with it.
In short, Rosa has done what she must, because she can. For the good of all of us.

Aethrys on June 29, 2011 at 9:46 am

@Aethrys Except the zombies, vampires, zompires, machines, plant monsters and the ones who are dead

Duchy on June 29, 2011 at 10:38 am

Since we can’t even agree on the most basic facts, let’s use science. Let’s use http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WMG/SortingAlgorithmOfFaceHeelTurning on both Outer Joe and Inner Joe. BTW I got that Inner Joe is more likely by 2/9. Add your own scores.

P.S. Rosa killed Outer Joe

aattss on June 29, 2011 at 1:11 pm

@aattss Why do you keep insisting that Outer Joe is dead? Even if you ignore the fact that this has happened before when OJ was mentally dominated and IJ broke free, do you really think Author Joe would kill off his main character so quickly?

Now I’m not sure what you wanted from Rosa here. She’s met Joe once while serving him food, where he immediately got creepy on her. Then Cross turns out to be a creepy stalker as well and kidnaps her and steals her humanity. When OJ finds her he’s still super creepy and goes on about the whole marriage thing. Rosa puts her trust in the weird guy who she barely knows and he walks them straight into plant monsters. Now they’re literally being digested and she has to decided between the foolish creep Joe or the much more restrained and COMPETENT Joe.

Besides mild glimmers of humanity every now and then, OJ has shown himself to be a terrible person. He has a borderline sociopathic mentality when it comes to relating to other people. He is like a child, no one else matters but him. The only reason for people to exist is to praise him or serve him. Even as he was fading away you could see that he had no concept of how others view him. He doesn’t love Rosa, he doesn’t even know her and has only had her cooking once. But he knows he wants her. I really hope this Time Out gives him time to do some reflecting for a change.

Now IJ is going to be a big problem. He has full control of powers and importantly, he’s competent. OJ almost seems to be engineered to keep IJ in check. Too stupid to access powers and dumb and arrogant enough to walk headfirst into danger all the time. OJ is the perfect prison. I never felt that IJ was a “good guy” but after seeing how he told Rosa to break down OJ it really makes me worried. Had Rosa chosen OJ, they most likely would have escaped but Rosa would probably be greatly injured or Joe would be crippled afterward. With IJ in charge, I know he will bust them out and get them back home fast but it’s not gonna be pretty afterward. Only a Vamp Elder has shown to be a match for him so far.

I still would have chosen IJ though.

Raziel Star on June 29, 2011 at 4:08 pm

i’m disapointed at rosa! i hope she dies she dont deserv’ joe and it was she who wanted to go to the small explovsive mother fuckers!

frida on June 29, 2011 at 5:05 pm

OJ did not break free last time. I rewatched the comic and clearly IJ got beat up/knocked unconscious so OJ came back. Now you are assuming OJ will want to get back. You know, he did mentally fade away and turn into apparent nothing. Also, since plants and robots are reputed do be STRONGER than vamps, and Andrius and Cross are probably stronger now (Cross drank the vamp elder’s blood) that actually means OJ will be more unlucky this time.

aattss on June 29, 2011 at 6:20 pm

I ask everyone here who is hating on rosa, if you were rosa and you have to choose between a creepy guy who is leading you into danger? or the guy who seems to know how to get things done and isn’t head strong? I mean really it’s annoying to see someone get worked up over a fictional person stating it like it is, but have any of you really stopped bullies in real life, atleast those of you who are hating on rosa? or not stopped a bully told their friend the truth about something you know would hurt them? same concept here.

Alex on June 29, 2011 at 6:23 pm

@aattss you’re nit picking arugments towards you or just ignoreing the ones you can’t fight

Alex on June 29, 2011 at 6:24 pm

aattss on June 29, 2011 at 6:27 pm

Whoaaaa, can we calm down? It’s only a comic O_o

Bill on June 29, 2011 at 7:00 pm

So now that Rosa has released inner joe and seal outer joe in then it would be awesome that outer joe can travel inside his own mind and visit his mind chambers where all his memories are sealed away and can finally see what happened before he got into his hospital.Honestly i think really cool would be if Joe discovered that during The pocalypse military was desperate they were loosing the war against monsters so they went on a search to find a perfect specimen for theyr tests and then they came over Joe and kidnapped him since he was the perfect test subject for em.

Dagzter on June 29, 2011 at 7:27 pm

1. Before Outer Joe was put aside and abused. This time Outer Joe was abused and lost all reason to live and even faded away.
2. I meant Author Joe “killed” Outer Joe, as in he’ll probably be back soon. See http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SortingAlgorithmOfDeadness.
3. I expected Rosa to get IJ like the vampire elder did, not to push it in his face that he’s an asshead (especially since that’s not 100% agreed on by the audience). Rosa purpusly made this choice.
4. Who do you trust? A baffoon and moron or some creepy weird suspicious voice that wants you to crush someone’s soul when alternatives are available?
5. Joe doesn’t think everyone is there to either praise or to serve him. He seems to not care about other people because he is slightly phycopath, which I already mentioned.
6. I don’t think Outer Joe only just wants Rosa. Obviously, it’s love at first sight, which is also possible. That, of course, is also used throughout many entertainment industries including Hollywood. Here, Real Joe is probably either not realizing it’s cheesy, or is making fun of it.
@Alex:Let me know if there’s anything I haven’t mentioned here.
@Bill:Sure thing
@Everyone:I’ll stop responding to other comments in the comments. From now on, I’ll do it in the forums, and only the forums.

aattss on June 29, 2011 at 7:46 pm

If only Inner Joe could leave a comment about all these people raging on Rosa. I am siding more and more with leaving outer Joe out of the picture or at least having him learn from this experience because now people are making him seem like a little puppy that didn’t have this coming. I would like to take the brains of the people that are complaining and “…make some f$%king salad.”

Gluttony on June 29, 2011 at 8:41 pm

@ aattss – “I meant Author Joe “killed” Outer Joe, as in he’ll probably be back soon.”
yeah, no. That’s not what you meant at all. You said OJ was permanently dead.
“I expected Rosa to get IJ like the vampire elder did, not to push it in his face that he’s an asshead (especially since that’s not 100% agreed on by the audience)”
Rosa is much weaker than the elder. She’s had vampiric powers for about a week, and had to be coached on how to use them. The Elder knew what he was doing and was able to simply kick through Joe’s mental defenses like they were tissue paper. Rosa had to soften him up first. And since when does a character need to share the opinions of the audience?
“Who do you trust? A baffoon and moron or some creepy weird suspicious voice that wants you to crush someone’s soul when alternatives are available?”
When the moron got me into the life/death situation I’m now in, and has been constantly hitting on me since I met him, and the voice is powerful enough to save me? Yeah, I’ll take IJ, with some reservations, but I’d still do it.

Peeps need to shut their mouth about inner Joe. Now we have an awesome storyline to go along with the awesome world that author Joe has created! The story of a girl named Rosa, torn between the two personalities of the schizophrenic husband she accidentally married (kinda).

I do not think, which is real the internal Joe the best which one leave free should.

For one moment surely if it burns however otherwise?

WriterJoe-> Nicely played! I’ve never seen s many large comments in the previous scenes before in a while! These people may not agree for several reasons of deniel, but it seems this scene is currently in what you would call the “Pocalypse Hall of Fame” for being the most commented!

NeoWarrior on June 30, 2011 at 7:48 am

Holy crap the bomb exploded in the comment section. Anyway:

Am I the only one convinced Rosa just said those mean things just to unlock Inner Joe and not because she really wanted to hurt him? I bet she really feels like to have to do so. Rosa does not strike me as the type to just throw insults left and right.

And if I were Rosa, yes I’d choose for inner Joe. Sucks to be outer Joe but come on, it’s about survival here. They can fight it out later when they’re safe.

Also, I’m loving the story. :D

Option 1:OJ kills Rosa
Option 2:OJ marries Rosa

That’ll be a tough decision.
Rosa herself would probably choose Option 1

I find it a little funny how aattss is just spewing the same stuff over and over again, ignoring everyone’s arguments. The worst kind of person to be in a debate against. I’ll be laughing my butt off if Inner Joe turns out to be a cool guy after all. Don’t take this the wrong way buddy, but you can’t be right all the time.

It’d make sense if Inner Joe couldn’t stay conscious for too long, maybe a few hours, before Outer Joe has to take over again, sort of like when you activate your super powerful form in games like Dark Siders, but it has a timer and you need to let it rest/regenerate. That’d be cool, kind of like a sort of upgrade for the Joes.

In my personal opinion what I think could happen is that inner Joe is somehow defeated which allows outer Joe to come out, but he saw what inner Joe could do and doesn’t feel as thou he could protect Rosa and basically becomes a shadow of his former self unable to do much of anything. OR inner Joe turns out to be evil or looking out for number 1, and won’t lift a finger to help anyone but himself or Rosa. ORR they have an internal power strugle which results in a third Joe appearing or just becoming an entity known as PowerFist

I say Joe get’s violated by a plant monster and feels too dirty to be with me anymore!!!!!

Rosa on June 30, 2011 at 2:46 pm

AHHHH! Come on, Rosa! You already threw me away! Don’t give Joe(author) such weird ideas!!!!! We’re married…

PowerFist on June 30, 2011 at 2:50 pm

How about Outer Joe FInally realizes what a douche he’s been, and then starts being awesome instead, and capable of controlling his powers much much better?

Rasmus Nielsen on June 30, 2011 at 5:05 pm

It never stops suprising me how many people are a bit thick. Everyone that’s going “oh Rosa that bitch, I want her to die” seem to be unable to differentiate between their view of the story and a characters view of the situation.
Rosa met Joe once and thought he was funny and a nice guy, when he carried her away from Bernie she had faith in him at first, but sadly was dissapointed… because Joe is an idiot, in addition to this she has also seen his more obnoxious side (marriage thing etc). Now she is left in a life threatening situation caused by OJ and it is clear that OJ is not able to do anything, so she opts for the only chance of survival she has/sees. She tells OJ some perfectly justified but harsh things (yet at the same time is geniunly sorry for having to do that) to set IJ free. There is no indication that this is permanently harmful to OJ and even if it is it is clear that Rosa assumes it is not. She clearly states it is for the best of all of them, so she thinks OJ will be fine.

Also wanted to mention that I do like Outer Joe’s personality. Yes it’s annoying for the others and in real life if I had someone like that with me I’d want to shoot it. But it’s incredibly funny to look at, especially in a miserable future like this. Most apocalypse comic tends to only feature people with superhero mentalities, always wanting to be serious and protect others etc etc. Joe is different and I like him for that.

Anyone agrees for a poll or something?

asdasd on June 30, 2011 at 6:49 pm

Outer Joe has finally realized how weak and insecure he is. He was using someone elses’ powers and claiming them as his own. He apparently didn’t understand that a stable relationship takes time to make.

aattss on June 30, 2011 at 8:19 pm

@Rasmus Nielsen- I thought inner Joe was the one with all the powers? So couldn’t outer Joe not control them even if he wanted to? Just a thought.

ken2666 on June 30, 2011 at 10:16 pm

Maybe outer Joe will just take control of his body.

aattss on July 1, 2011 at 12:18 am

Oh my god people. I get it, Rosa was acting like a bitch, but she was not without reason, Joe was an ass in the start, but because he was the main character it was justified? Also, Joe acted like an ass when he said that he was better than Rosa’s heroes. Rosa is just going through a tantrum. I’m still hoping for a merge, or at least for Joe to become a werewolf.

@Everyone – Thanks for all the comments! :D I get a lot of ideas and inspiration from what you all have to say!

btw I didn’t mean to bash outer Joe, he might be rude and a bit thick..conceited…etc. But it makes for good story telling and it’s okay because every now and then we see that he is also a nice guy.
