I wrote on two chapters telling you not to choose inner Joe. so now everyone is basically crying saying”why did I choose inner Joe?!” So shut up because I check this every time listening to you all moaning to how “Rosa’s so evil”speech it’s pissing me off. okay I watched it was mean how Rosa treated him, BUT He did deserve it. I’m not siding with anyone here because you guys keep arguing about Rosa so try not to do this again…
also,after being treated like this by his inner companion…i am thinking he won’t be ass cocky about his powers if he gets out…infact,he will attempt everything to get rid of them,now that the source of them treated him like the crap he kinda is…gotta take away the scars of a bad encouter…but can’t get the scars out of his arm…so hell just cut off the arm,and,if that won’t work,the rest of his body too,while he’s at it

For all you Rosa agree-ers out there. I believe it is OBVIOUS she is a bitch. True or not, delicacy has not been added to the equation anytime, she didnt have patience, and she was MIERCELESS with OJ, even though OJ is the CONCIENCE that made IJ do what he did, true, IJ was in charge of keeping him alive, but shit, IJ wouldnt have cared shit abt anyone! And IJ is still the same stubborn asshole! only that he’s badass!I believe Rosa should be punished, almost dead, left by OJ or cheated by IJ, and then be saved by OJ, realizing she’s been a bitch. IMO she didnt justify shit, OJ would have dumbily saved her, despite the trouble. What i see here is clear disregard to the person who just saved your life, and new thirst of blood, AND the guy who suggested looking for YOU in the first place!! Because lets be sincere, who made everyone look for Rosa? It was OJ! She went all out on the person who saved her in a way even harder than that Bernie, that who gave it all for her, even blood, she was undelicate and outrageous on the wrong person, and distrusted the person for whom she’s alive, going back to New Hamerston, and satisfied her of her thirst! She’s a bitch who couldnt fight against her insecurity. A weak bitch, but a bitch. That is my opinion.
PS: the fact that OJ is a self-centered person, is just to make this Comic alot more interesting ¬¬ you got to admit, even if stubborn, he saves lifes, and has a big heart hidden by his insecure bragging.
About time he got a few kicks to the ol’ pride. As much as I enjoy this comic, the characterization has never really been my favorite thing. Here’s hoping that Joe uses this to develop more as a person (and make his escapades more interesting to follow!)

I didn’t know about any voting, because I just watch the comic, but I also would have chosen Inner Joe. Don’t care how Rosa treats Outer Joe.
I look at it from a purely tactical perspective.
It’s been stated already that Outer Joe has NO powers whatsoever, and that Inner Joe is the one lending him said powers, but that it’s limited due to him not being in control. Therefore, Inner Joe taking the reigns in such a situation would be best because he has a better grasp on his own powers than Outer Joe could. That’s all there is to it. I see no reason to complain whatsoever. And aattss, how about a bit more tact and a little less butt-hurt.

@aattss – What? You think stupid people can’t be selfish, and you also think OJ isn’t? What web comic have you been reading? And Rosa DID trust OJ. She trusted him over her own feeling that continuing into the plant territory was a bad idea, and that is what got her into the mess she is now in. Trusting OJ is what caused her to be trapped in a pod filled with acid. You’re finding this hard to explain because you’ve got some rose tinted lenses you view OJ through, and are blinded to his flaws. And, OJ is NOT dead. He is just how IJ was before Rosa released him, viewing things from the dream realm. I know this because that is exactly what happened when the elder vampire released Inner Joe in the church. Outer Joe didn’t die then, so he shouldn’t be dead now. Rosa was blunt here, but she was kind and put up with OJ’s crap for a very long time, and now she’s finally gotten fed up with it.
In short, Rosa has done what she must, because she can. For the good of all of us.

@aattss Why do you keep insisting that Outer Joe is dead? Even if you ignore the fact that this has happened before when OJ was mentally dominated and IJ broke free, do you really think Author Joe would kill off his main character so quickly?
Now I’m not sure what you wanted from Rosa here. She’s met Joe once while serving him food, where he immediately got creepy on her. Then Cross turns out to be a creepy stalker as well and kidnaps her and steals her humanity. When OJ finds her he’s still super creepy and goes on about the whole marriage thing. Rosa puts her trust in the weird guy who she barely knows and he walks them straight into plant monsters. Now they’re literally being digested and she has to decided between the foolish creep Joe or the much more restrained and COMPETENT Joe.
Besides mild glimmers of humanity every now and then, OJ has shown himself to be a terrible person. He has a borderline sociopathic mentality when it comes to relating to other people. He is like a child, no one else matters but him. The only reason for people to exist is to praise him or serve him. Even as he was fading away you could see that he had no concept of how others view him. He doesn’t love Rosa, he doesn’t even know her and has only had her cooking once. But he knows he wants her. I really hope this Time Out gives him time to do some reflecting for a change.
Now IJ is going to be a big problem. He has full control of powers and importantly, he’s competent. OJ almost seems to be engineered to keep IJ in check. Too stupid to access powers and dumb and arrogant enough to walk headfirst into danger all the time. OJ is the perfect prison. I never felt that IJ was a “good guy” but after seeing how he told Rosa to break down OJ it really makes me worried. Had Rosa chosen OJ, they most likely would have escaped but Rosa would probably be greatly injured or Joe would be crippled afterward. With IJ in charge, I know he will bust them out and get them back home fast but it’s not gonna be pretty afterward. Only a Vamp Elder has shown to be a match for him so far.
I still would have chosen IJ though.

OJ did not break free last time. I rewatched the comic and clearly IJ got beat up/knocked unconscious so OJ came back. Now you are assuming OJ will want to get back. You know, he did mentally fade away and turn into apparent nothing. Also, since plants and robots are reputed do be STRONGER than vamps, and Andrius and Cross are probably stronger now (Cross drank the vamp elder’s blood) that actually means OJ will be more unlucky this time.
I ask everyone here who is hating on rosa, if you were rosa and you have to choose between a creepy guy who is leading you into danger? or the guy who seems to know how to get things done and isn’t head strong? I mean really it’s annoying to see someone get worked up over a fictional person stating it like it is, but have any of you really stopped bullies in real life, atleast those of you who are hating on rosa? or not stopped a bully told their friend the truth about something you know would hurt them? same concept here.

So now that Rosa has released inner joe and seal outer joe in then it would be awesome that outer joe can travel inside his own mind and visit his mind chambers where all his memories are sealed away and can finally see what happened before he got into his hospital.Honestly i think really cool would be if Joe discovered that during The pocalypse military was desperate they were loosing the war against monsters so they went on a search to find a perfect specimen for theyr tests and then they came over Joe and kidnapped him since he was the perfect test subject for em.

5. Joe doesn’t think everyone is there to either praise or to serve him. He seems to not care about other people because he is slightly phycopath, which I already mentioned.
6. I don’t think Outer Joe only just wants Rosa. Obviously, it’s love at first sight, which is also possible. That, of course, is also used throughout many entertainment industries including Hollywood. Here, Real Joe is probably either not realizing it’s cheesy, or is making fun of it.

If only Inner Joe could leave a comment about all these people raging on Rosa. I am siding more and more with leaving outer Joe out of the picture or at least having him learn from this experience because now people are making him seem like a little puppy that didn’t have this coming. I would like to take the brains of the people that are complaining and “…make some f$%king salad.”

yeah, no. That’s not what you meant at all. You said OJ was permanently dead.

Rosa is much weaker than the elder. She’s had vampiric powers for about a week, and had to be coached on how to use them. The Elder knew what he was doing and was able to simply kick through Joe’s mental defenses like they were tissue paper. Rosa had to soften him up first. And since when does a character need to share the opinions of the audience?

When the moron got me into the life/death situation I’m now in, and has been constantly hitting on me since I met him, and the voice is powerful enough to save me? Yeah, I’ll take IJ, with some reservations, but I’d still do it.

Peeps need to shut their mouth about inner Joe. Now we have an awesome storyline to go along with the awesome world that author Joe has created! The story of a girl named Rosa, torn between the two personalities of the schizophrenic husband she accidentally married (kinda).
I do not think, which is real the internal Joe the best which one leave free should.

Am I the only one convinced Rosa just said those mean things just to unlock Inner Joe and not because she really wanted to hurt him? I bet she really feels like to have to do so. Rosa does not strike me as the type to just throw insults left and right.
And if I were Rosa, yes I’d choose for inner Joe. Sucks to be outer Joe but come on, it’s about survival here. They can fight it out later when they’re safe.
Also, I’m loving the story. :D

I find it a little funny how aattss is just spewing the same stuff over and over again, ignoring everyone’s arguments. The worst kind of person to be in a debate against. I’ll be laughing my butt off if Inner Joe turns out to be a cool guy after all. Don’t take this the wrong way buddy, but you can’t be right all the time.
It’d make sense if Inner Joe couldn’t stay conscious for too long, maybe a few hours, before Outer Joe has to take over again, sort of like when you activate your super powerful form in games like Dark Siders, but it has a timer and you need to let it rest/regenerate. That’d be cool, kind of like a sort of upgrade for the Joes.
In my personal opinion what I think could happen is that inner Joe is somehow defeated which allows outer Joe to come out, but he saw what inner Joe could do and doesn’t feel as thou he could protect Rosa and basically becomes a shadow of his former self unable to do much of anything. OR inner Joe turns out to be evil or looking out for number 1, and won’t lift a finger to help anyone but himself or Rosa. ORR they have an internal power strugle which results in a third Joe appearing or just becoming an entity known as PowerFist

How about Outer Joe FInally realizes what a douche he’s been, and then starts being awesome instead, and capable of controlling his powers much much better?
It never stops suprising me how many people are a bit thick. Everyone that’s going “oh Rosa that bitch, I want her to die” seem to be unable to differentiate between their view of the story and a characters view of the situation.
Rosa met Joe once and thought he was funny and a nice guy, when he carried her away from Bernie she had faith in him at first, but sadly was dissapointed… because Joe is an idiot, in addition to this she has also seen his more obnoxious side (marriage thing etc). Now she is left in a life threatening situation caused by OJ and it is clear that OJ is not able to do anything, so she opts for the only chance of survival she has/sees. She tells OJ some perfectly justified but harsh things (yet at the same time is geniunly sorry for having to do that) to set IJ free. There is no indication that this is permanently harmful to OJ and even if it is it is clear that Rosa assumes it is not. She clearly states it is for the best of all of them, so she thinks OJ will be fine.
Also wanted to mention that I do like Outer Joe’s personality. Yes it’s annoying for the others and in real life if I had someone like that with me I’d want to shoot it. But it’s incredibly funny to look at, especially in a miserable future like this. Most apocalypse comic tends to only feature people with superhero mentalities, always wanting to be serious and protect others etc etc. Joe is different and I like him for that.

Outer Joe has finally realized how weak and insecure he is. He was using someone elses’ powers and claiming them as his own. He apparently didn’t understand that a stable relationship takes time to make.
@Rasmus Nielsen- I thought inner Joe was the one with all the powers? So couldn’t outer Joe not control them even if he wanted to? Just a thought.
Maybe outer Joe will just take control of his body.
Oh my god people. I get it, Rosa was acting like a bitch, but she was not without reason, Joe was an ass in the start, but because he was the main character it was justified? Also, Joe acted like an ass when he said that he was better than Rosa’s heroes. Rosa is just going through a tantrum. I’m still hoping for a merge, or at least for Joe to become a werewolf.
Woooowww… this got alot more then I, or im gessing Joe (author) expected. Where is he exactly anyway? I wana hear his input on this. And I wana see the next scene, to find out what happens next.

btw I didn’t mean to bash outer Joe, he might be rude and a bit thick..conceited…etc. But it makes for good story telling and it’s okay because every now and then we see that he is also a nice guy.
