Productive Song Recommendations? | September 17, 2021

by Joe

With my family away during the day, I’m left alone at home, trying my best to be productive :D I’ve been listening to Lofi and Lofi-ish J-Pop playlists on YouTube/Spotify and that genre seems to be the best at keeping me focused and on task. What do you guys listen to to stay in a good work flow? I’d love some recommendations!

Enjoy Scene 57 – “Get Him Out”!

You can follow The Pocalypse on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates!

Welp, that suit didnt last very long. Or maybe little Scrufflebeck could be doing some upgrading in there?

—————

Theories and Conversation:

1.There is one anomaly in the Pocalypse world that triggers me a bit. We have seen that the zombie virus is rampant, yet the only altered animals we have seen have been mutated animals. Is the zombie virus only effective on humans and those with a human-based form? Otherwise, we would be seeing zombie dogs and birds around. Or maybe they just got out-competed by the mutated variants and already went extinct even earlier than the zombie humans?

2. Following on the previous one, we know that the mutated humans have their origin in Greybane and Bug, with the second likely being the cause of other humans becoming mutated. If so, would that mean that the mutation is somehow contagious? Otherwise, how would other creatures seen have come about… the multiple forms can be explained by saying “unstable mutated genome” or something to that effect, but no one has said anything regarding mutant infection and we have yet to see this transformation either. Or maybe, the mutated beasts have a completely different origin from the mutant humans? This race seems explained at a short glance, but on closer inspection still has a lot of missing links and possibilities.

If you want really productive music just find the most annoying song you can and play it on repeat, no stopping until you finish your work. Only risk is going insane if you dont finish your work in reasonable time.

if ya like classical ish music, the entire game soundtrack of Eternal Sonata, hnnnnggggg

sims music too, never played the games but some of their soundtracks are great too

basically anything without many words (or you basically cant pay too much attention to)
is best for studying \ turn off your mind times.
especially video games soundtracks, those are usually suited for that.

also, oh gosh! those squishy fleshy organic wet noises o.0

If you like lo-fi but want something with a little more “oomph”, then my recommendation – and go to productive music – is mixes from a DJ called “Confused Bi-Product of a Misinformed Culture”. Despite the slightly edgy name, the dude makes killer mixes in different electronic genres. I usually listen to his Trip Hop or Progressive House mixes for work, but all of his mixes are pretty good.
