I’m not that big into chess but I did enjoy it as a kid and during my recent stint of going down the YouTube Rubik’s cube rabbit hole, I inevitably came across some chess tournament highlights. The logic, cleverness, tactics – it’s all pretty fascinating, especially at the professional level (granted, I don’t know what’s going on 99% of the time but it seems cool :D). Recently, I came across the Netflix series “The Queen’s Gambit” which is, surprise surprise, about chess!
I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it is. Even if you’re not into chess or find it boring, the character arc and story are great enough to stand on their own. The show could be about a girl who grows up with anxiety and addiction who is finding herself through… um, boxing and it’d still be a great show :D Recommended!

Whelp, kinda knew Cash was a bad guy to begin with. This cements it if this guy freely threatens Jackie with association by him. (ok not threaten per say, but ‘Cash is gonna make you look for me’ puts him at some level)
Taking him at his word would be madness, but following…for now, would make it easy to find more survivors. I’m surprised Noah doesn’t have a low grade lie detector built in though. Even just checking the stuff you can do at range I’m sure it would have been going off the entire encounter. Maybe the ability and will to deceive didn’t occur to the machines when making a pet war machine
I definitely have suspected Cash since the beginning, but I feel like he’ll drive a sway in the group. Factions, between Cash and that guy who made the threat. I get the feelings he won’t believe the things Cash has seen, and things will go down, or some such thing. Either way I’m looking forward to it.
