Time to Vote! 12/11/2010

by Joe

It’s time to vote for the plant puppy’s name! Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! :D

I chose these 5 to vote for (in no particular order):

Scrufflebeck – I love this name! Rolls off the tongue and it’s undeniably a pet’s name :D
Greensprout – It’s nickname can be “Sprout”! Very cute name :D
Triffid – A very cool-sounding name and I love the reference :D
Powerpaw – Perfect pairing to Joe’s Powerfist! Powerfist and Powerpaw vs. the forces of evil! :D
Oxypooper – Hilarious name! Also a good description of the pup :D

Please join the forums to vote for your favourite!

Also, The Pocalypse is two months old! Hooray! :D We’re getting more and more popular thanks to all of you! Please continue spreading the word! :D

Please continue to vote and nominate (if you think I deserve it)!

Enjoy Scene 4 – “Mom and Dad, Part 2”!

Have a great weekend!

scrufflebeck ftw

So Joe was in a coma for at least 3 years. Who took care of him during that time? The Zombies?

Aamon on December 11, 2010 at 11:53 am

You’re sound effect made me jump. Good job Joe.

So, when will you add the puppy to the crew page? And about Joe’s new name?

Chilingsworth on December 11, 2010 at 1:52 pm

awesome scene dude! Also, Joe’s back! He and Jess insulted each other, so that means he wasn’t mentally disfigured by this background info on the others! Furthermore… No that’s really it!!!!!!

I’m the one who proposed Powerpaw… so… yeah…

Dad DOES sound like a badass, hope we get to see him.

Yoinkinator on December 11, 2010 at 2:23 pm

@ Chilingsworth – Done! Argh, I keep forgetting to update that page! Thanks for the reminder :D

Nice episode, I really like how the vampires and plant monsters seems to fit really well into the story. At first I thought it was all a bit much, having so many different kinds of hostiles, but you’ve worked them in there like linseed oil into a cricket bat. It’s brilliant. High Five! Also, Triffid is THE BEST NAME. Or maybe Trifpup… but then that’d be weird when he’s fully grown. I wonder how much good a trained, full-grown plant monster is in a fight? like if Joe trains him to be tactically useful… A topic we’ll look into, I’m sure. Nice episode :)

MorganrBan on December 11, 2010 at 9:57 pm

More likely than not, Joe will train him to hump the enemies to death… if at all…lol

I’m still wondering if the pup will turn out to be like that creature from the movie “The Thing” …

Also, Join the forum if you haven’t already done so!

This is late but plant monsters! nice. The more types of monsters the better! Keep him away from saltwater though, that’s what killed off the triffids.

For those who are not in the forums, it’s between Scrufflebeck(9) and Oxypooper(7)… Come and vote whenever you like!

I just re-watched this, and I must say…I think that’s one of the scariest screams/sound clips I have ever heard when related to such a situation. *shudders*

I doesn’t matter if it makes sense just if it sounded like it should have mad sense.
